Sit down Anti-Obama racists
Barack Obama won the Democratic nomination fair and square but because what Father Pfleger
said appears to be true for all racist whites (those who don't like Barack because he is
black) they have decided to further divide the Democratic party by encouraging in-name-only
Democrats to vote Republican.
Understand this: those hooligans weren't Democrats in the first place. They probably don't
even understand the electoral process. Illiterate inbreds.
However, Barack shall not be moved and neither will his very solid base of educated
peoples--who are both Red and Blue.
Hey, I can say what I want. I'm not running for president. I can say exactly what is on my
mind.
Those who are against Obama are against college tax credits (they can't read anyway) and
other middle to low income tax credits that will put more money into their pocket. They are
against an improved GI bill too. I know McCain is.
They will still cut their noses to spite their faces.
The right to vote at all should be rescinded from any racist. (who won't vote for Obama
because he is black)
If you don't like his personality, his politics, where he lives and want to waste your vote
on peripherals, fine. It's not illegal to be stupid, however, they should get half a vote
because I don't want to be subjected to their stupidity via another selfish republican
administration.
They have no opportunities for the little people to pull themselves up from their
bootstraps. Things have changed. Under their administration, if you are not big business or
have connections, you can't get anywhere. They close the business world to the small
businessman by not opening up the bidding process to their contracts.
So the only reason most white folk don't want Obama in office is because of his race.
Those types of people suck and they should be shipped out of America this instant.

So You Think You Can Dance!
Season four is off the chain! I guess it matters that I missed all of the other previous seasons but I made it a point to not miss this one.
Every since I heard that this show would be airing, I was excited about it. I went to dance classes as a little girl and although I am no longer or really ever was in dancer shape, (hmmm, I can step though)I can still appreciate all that goes into telling a story with your body.
Dance is about expression--either your thoughts and feelings or another person.
I love the judges and the choreography is fantastic.
The whole show is so energizing and the contestants are ultra talented.
I know some of you out there go secretly en point or flex an arm or foot or sit up a little bit straighter when the theme music comes on. I know you do.

Sen. McCain is insane in the membrane.
All of a sudden, we need to "fix" social security because it is "broken."
These comments were made in florida Thursday afternoon.
Most of the residents of South Florida are well off. Some of this country's most wealthy have found a home in the Sunshine State.
They don't really care about Social Security fixing.
I hope it matters that McCain was talking to the Florida Press Assn. I hope they had their thinking caps on.
Funding the war in Iraq and its subsequent months of activity is where most of the Social Security trust fund has been spent.
Was it time to fix Social Security when you people in charge of this said fund, were busy spending it on your other woman--Iraq?
Or any place else other than this red, white and blue soil, it seems.
Take care of home first. I would never vote for Sen. McCain. He is only puppeting the failed policies of recent years.
I guess he doesn't realize that many of those people he addressed Thursday have money woes of one type or another or have family members borrowing from them because of money woes/failed current policies.

Race Relations
Everyone seemed calm today as I went about my duties. I said, "Obama '08" to a couple of people--cautiously--because you don't know how people will react.
It was positive. I can tell those I spoke to watched or kept up with the news of the campaign.
Cool. I'm proud of us.
If you want to know why I felt I had to test the waters on it, it is because:
White folk don't never let blacks have anything good. Ifn it ain't already chewed up and spit out, used up or completely wrecked and useless to them, we usually don't get to have it.
Except this time, so thanks.
There I said it--bad grammar and all. (adds affect)
Everyone was in shock at Obama's winning the nomination.
We are all wondering, what next. What will they take from us?
There was a brief power outage in my area and I jokingly stated,
"y'all think this is because Obama won?"
Everybody laughed but it was a short staccato laughter--the type of laughter where you can tell in the back of all of our minds we said,
"naw, there would have been more people effected if they were going to get us back for the win."
That is how black people in this country (born and raised) think. We are always waiting for the other shoe to drop when it comes to success--major successes by blacks--in the main stream community.
White folk don't won't blacks lording over them. They don't want the plantation effect reversed and they don't want to discuss this part of our history.
Yes I said our. We, both black and white, share this tenuous history.
The more white qualities a black person has the more accepted he or she is by whites and certain other blacks and usually has the ability to go farther in the mainstream. Now what constitutes white qualities vary because some black folk still think the ability to read and write is a white quality.
Having a lilt to your voice, smiling, appearing happy and pleased--most of the time--is considered a white quality amongst the most urban blacks.
In the south, everyone greets each other because it's good manners so I don't know what southern blacks call acting white. I'm a so-called uppity Northern Negro--for women's rights and all.
Also considered white, is usage of the Internet for more than looking at porn and attempting or wanting to use proper grammar. Having a blog is considered acting white too.
Can't you hear some cantankerous person spitting on the floor?
If this blog post has angered you, please look at the title of my blog and grab a sense of humor on the way out.
