Insurance. Everyone has something to say about this invention but until you really need it, you tend not to appreciate it.
No one likes paying insurance premiums but it is what keeps us from utter destruction in times of need.
I remember when there was no law requiring drivers in the U.S. to have auto insurances. It was only strongly suggested to have it mostly because it protects you and because it is the right thing to do.
Assessing risk in the insurance industry is known as underwriting. Underwriters collect data to predict the likelihood one of those who they are insuring will make a claim. This process leads to billions in profits but when the actual loss occurs, billions could be paid out.
Good examples are weather-related losses and wildfires.
Many people are concerned about home insurance and car insurance.
You can compare car insurance by clicking on the underlined words in this sentence. It is good to compare prices because we all want to get the best deal we possibly can.

Why Not Chat?
Ever get bored or lonely or bored?
Once, I visited a chat room and guess what happened? I had some fun!
Lots of people don't want to be known as a person who visits a chat room but it's okay to do there isn't anything wrong with holding a conversation with someone.
We talk to people we don't necessarily know personally through the day and a chat room isn't much different.
Imagine yourself at a really nice party. Everyone is mingling and introducing themselves, your favorite music is playing in the background and suddenly, this really interesting person enters into the room. You can't decide whether to introduce yourself or not. Suddenly, the person says hello to you. You say hello back. You say, how was your day? The interesting new person says, well I've had better days or the person says that the day that they had was glorious and you have just made it that much better. Before you know it, you've talked all night but yet you haven't left your home.
That’s how it is—pretty much--when you go to a chat room. You go when you want and you leave when you want.

Paying the Bills
Well, I have to pay the bills. That is why I have chosen to sign up on several to pay-to-blog companies. I'm happy about my decision. I hope those who read my blog agree. I have found out about some really neat stuff that I would probably had never learned about if it were not for my pay-to-blog opportunities. Also, if any of you want to get in on the action, feel free to click on the review my post links that I post in the paid blog posts.
In the meanwhile, I'm learning to write ad copy--which is very exciting to me. I have always wanted to make commercials.
Also, don't forget to click on the lulu.com link to your right and buy my new books. Or maybe you can donate. Click on the paypal donate link and I will continue to delight you with my take on life.

Black Friday is Near!
This is a payperpost sponsored ad.
It's here again--almost.
Soon, it will be the time to roust the children on a dreary
morning to stand in line for Black Friday sales.
Some of you may not be familiar. Black Friday is the day after
Thanksgiving when serious Christmas shoppers begin their holiday shopping.
Major retailers around the country discount products to help kick off the Christmas shopping season. The Black Friday ads are usually kept secret until you receive the circulars in your Thanksgiving Day newspaper.
Black Friday is not for the last-minute shopper but those of us who keep an eye out all year for the elusive toy, sweater or newest pant and shoe shape that loved ones just must have.
The official day for us is November 26 each year.
These Black Fridays are usually marked by 4, 5 or 6 a.m. stands in lines at local malls and department stores to get the best sales before it's all gone bye-bye.
This year, however, it will be different for some of us because
we're going to black friday 2007 on line this year.
At this Web site, all of the stores that I would have fought traffic to get to are in one place so that I can sit in the comfort of my home sipping hot cocoa and clicking my way to vauable savings.
Every Christmas, Best Buy offers excellent electronics and appliance gifts for my whole family and
Circuit City deals will make sure that MP3 player will be under my tree at the lowest possible cost. Kids like electronics for Christmas and I know I'll be able to get them there. However, I won't have to stand in the cold morning drizzle to get them.

Buy a House
THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST
Mortgages are going through hardship.
It's hard to find a site that has information on mortgages and mortgage advice to homeowners and first time buyers.Remortgages is a way of changing the terms of a current mortgage.
Apparently, it can be a way of raising cash besides getting out of an expensive monthly payment.
Rent to own mortgages have seen a growth in the past few years.
Given the state of the housing market in the U.S. and my ability to buy a home, I actually have been giving the latter idea some thought.

I Love PayPerPost!
I found out about payperpost through one of the Google ads on a Web site. Until then, I had never heard of people getting paid to blog about the things they love. I couldn't wait to participate. I feel like Hemmingway--except that I'm not. I'm just a girl who likes to write and I simply adore my blog. It has a nice mix of video, pics and text.
As a new Postie, I have become exposed to all kinds of new products and services that I may not have otherwise heard about. I really like that I have the opportunity to earn money writing about stuff on my blog.
The other things I like are the tutorial videos and RockStartup.
RockStartup is a series of reality shows streamed on the Web about the company that owns PayPerPost, IZEA.
It is so funny--it should be on television. It puts you in the mind of the Office meets Curb Your Enthusiasm but because it is a real company it's much more interesting.
In one episode, they were talking about the parking situation where they are located and getting new office space. The interaction between the characters/employees/owners was amazing. I was really impressed because they thought to record what it is like to be a part of a Web company from start-up until now.
Another feature I like is the PostieCon Annual User convention they have coming up in Las Vegas. I would really like to attend. It sounds as if it would be informative and fun--A WHOLE LOTTA FUN.
Click on the links below to find out more--maybe you could make some money.
Newest search engine--Spock.com
Spock is the newest search engine on the market. Spock makes it so easy to search for people by name or by tag.
Sounds interesting? Well, say hello to my little friend! (enter ghoulish laughter and hand rubbing here;}).
What makes this search engine different is that it is a people search engine. It provides links to their Web presence. It provides results by searching bio pages, social networks, news sites, blogs, directories and by using information provided by its members. Once joining, you can shape what content is found when a search is performed using your information.
Members are encouraged to enter information about themselves into the database so that they become searchable.
Well, to be nice, I Spocked reporter first and here is what I found:
Another interesting Spock search is pro-choice candidates.
I started to explore the site after a while.
A search on President Bush led me to 8,585 results.
Don't worry if you search your own name and nothing pops up because the site is also user generated. That means that once you become a member you can put your information in Spock to become searchable for relevant information.
I put myself in in the site and now the tags writer and photographer are connected to my name. I also put the college I graduated from for added benefit.
I searched Gary, Indiana and photos and information about Marlon, Jermaine, Janet, Michael, Tito and LaToya appeared along with information on the famous brothers. I didn't look through all 25,437 results found to see if big sister Rebie Jackson was included. I think she likes to keep a low profile anyhow. Also found was actor Avery Brooks, who is from Gary and this country's first black mayor of a major city, Richard G. Hatcher. Actors and Actresses returned a result of 41 photo-included results.
This site is really wonderful for looking up your favorite celeb to find out different fan-tastic factoids.
I was watching cable news while composing this post and something about the "Don't Tase Me Bro," controversy was on so I Spocked that phrase and found some results with photos. The nice thing about this site is that photos are included if they are available without doing a separate search. I really liked the site and am glad to find out about it. Here is a link to it so that you can give it a try:

New Idol site--Idol Exclusive
Whether you are a fan of Fantasia, Kelly, Clay or Carrie the new fan site Idol Exclusive has it!
It has Canadian and American Idol features, blog links where Bloggers are writing about their favorite Idol contestant and a cool Idol hit music player right on the site.
The forum is the best. It's where Idol fans everywhere can share their thoughts and ideas on the show or their favorite Idol participant.
The unofficial fan Web site also has polls, news and photos of contestants on the popular show as well. I like the fact that it links a lot of Idol resources in one place so that when I want to chime in, I can go to one place to post.
